The Subcontinental Fellowship

Sub-Continental FellowshipIn the book of Revelation (that last book of the Bible), the writer speaks about the Lord Jesus ransoming people for God, from every tribe and language and people and nation (Rev 5:9). His glorious vision is that this diverse multitude would one day be gathered together around the throne of God singing his praises for this great act of salvation. What an incredible picture!

Did you know that in the great Subcontinent there are more than 25 written languages, with over 350 spoken languages and thousands of people groups? A great diversity of people that need to hear the good news of Jesus. You might be one of them or know one of them.

Aim

The St Andrew's Subcontinental Fellowship (SCF) was begun in order to proclaim this saving gospel particularly to those from and interested in India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other nearby regions. The aim of our fellowship is to form a community of people, who will:

  • Get to know each other
  • Support and encourage each other
  • Know and grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ
  • Reach out in faith, to those who are in need here in Australia and in the Sub-Continent
Activities
  • Bible studies that seek to help people grow in their knowledge and love of God’s Word and his people
  • Fellowship meals that aims to provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for the eating of good food (Subcontinental style!) around some good company. It will be followed by a short interactive discussion on the gospel (optional). Especially good if you are a newcomer!
