Certificate in Theology

St Andrew's Cathedral is committed to helping people train for ministry in many different ways. One of the best ways to train for ministry is to know your Bible well. And one of the best ways to know your Bible is to do a short course (or a few short courses) that will help you get to know your Bible. To that end, St Andrew's Cathedral supports the Moore Theological College External Studies Course — the Certificate of Theology.

These courses run by correspondence, sometimes in small groups through the Cathedral, and sometime as on-line courses. They are all very assessable and can be approached individually. Each course runs for 10 weeks with an optional exam at the end.

The Certificate in Theology (ThC) course has three stages with each stage consisting of six units. Certificates for each stage are awarded upon the successful completion by examination of the prescribed six units for that stage. The three stages are as follows:
